Why to Use Organic Paints

Organic paints:

Conventional paint contains artificial chemical solvents which can cause serious health problems and irritations. Organic paint is made of natural solvents which are biodegradable and contain very less carbon. Hence organic paint do not cause any irritation or health problem.

Uses of organic paint:

Organic paint contains water based solvents hence this chemical solvent free paint is highly effective and has a number of applications. It can be used as a primer for blocking out difficult stains on rusted iron material and prevent it from rust, painting hard woods like mahogany and oak, leak proofing of ceilings, plaster walls water proofing, special industrial use and many other uses for getting rid of stains.

Types of organic paints:

Organic paints are available in almost all types as that of conventional paints. Mainly organic paints are available in categories like an organic primer, wall paints, floor paints, wood paints, wood stain varnishes, clear varnishes, exterior wood stains and special purpose paints. All these types of organic paints are available in various colors and shades.

How to apply an organic paint on any surface:

Before painting any surface with an organic paint, apply an organic primer on that surface, initially. Before applying primer, clean your painting brush and other equipment and stir the paint (primer) thoroughly. Depending on the severity of the stain try to clean the surface which is to be painted by removing any rust, damp, water ingress and oil, on it. After cleaning and drying the surface, apply just one or two light or medium coats of white colored organic primer on the surface. Apply the second coat at least five to six hours after applying the first coat. Let the surface dry very well and if required, apply the third and the final coat of primer. To get the final coat more dark and thick than the initial coats, do not add more water in the primer. If you apply the third coat of primer, once again allow the surface to dry very well and then apply one or two coats of an organic paint of your choice, on this surface.

Advantages of using organic paints:

Unlike conventional paints, organic paints do not contain hazardous chemical solvents and are toxic free; as a result they are ideal for use for people who suffer from allergies and asthma problems due to application of conventional paints or people who are sensitive to chemicals. Organic paints do not contain volatile organic compounds which are the main sources of contribution to global warming and low level atmospheric pollution. Organic paints do not cause any type of harmful illnesses like allergies and asthma. As organic paints are free from chemicals they are very good for the chemical sensitive people. The rooms which are painted with organic paints are always very safe and pleasant to live-in. Some special organic paints are used in electrical and electronic devices like cellular phone and microwave installations, radio and TV masts, overhead electrical pylons, mobile phone masts, refrigerators, hairdryers and computers etc, to provide shield against their electrical radiations at homes and in offices. Almost all types of organic paints are entirely odor less.
