Getting Those perfect Organic Paints Use of natural paints is a great way to paint your house: A well and neatly painted house always makes your living very pleasant and enjoyable. While painting a home, choosing natural paint is considered to be the best option from the health point of view. As natural paint dries very fast as it allows releasing moisture very quickly from the painted surface. Natural paints are available in all types of colors and shades and you can mix these paints with each other to get your desired shade. In addition to this natural paints offer very unique finishes to surfaces as compared to artificial paints. How to achieve a specific color from natural paints: While painting, it is very important to take into account the motive behind painting. For a particular situation there are literally abundant color combinations of natural paints available in the market. Depending on what is to be painted, the particular type of natural paint can be chosen. Like conventional paints natural paints are also used as per the applications. Natural paints are available in almost all types similar to conventional paints like an organic primer, wall paints, floor paints, wood paints, wood stain varnishes, clear varnishes, exterior wood stains and special purpose paints. It is very easy to understand the use of proper natural paint and choose color by seeing its brochures, available in any paint shop. Choosing a proper natural paint while painting exterior surfaces: The exterior surface of any object is constantly subjected to harsh weather. Excessive rain and sun light can make exterior surface paint faint, very soon. Therefore exterior surfaces need very durable natural paint. Natural paints consist of raw linseed oil or linseed stand oil which has been heated to a very high temperature to make the paint more durable and harsh weather resistant. Natural paint which contains boiled linseed oil and a variety of drying time speeding elements should be avoided for exterior surface painting, as often these ingredients are harmful to health. Proper way of applying natural paints to any surface: Before painting any surface with any type of natural paint, apply a proper natural primer on that surface in the beginning. Before applying a primer, stir the paint (primer) thoroughly and clean your painting brushes and other painting equipments. Remove any rust, damp, water ingress and oil which may be present on the surface. This cleaning depends on the severity of the stains on the surface which is to be painted. After cleaning allow this surface to dry completely. Then initially apply just one or two light or medium coats of white colored organic primer on this surface. Apply the second coat at least five to six hours after applying first coat. Let the surface dry very well. If needed only, apply the third and the final coat of primer. If you apply the third coat of primer, once again allow the surface to dry well and then apply one or two coats of an organic paint of your choice, on this surface. Do not add thinner to any natural paint in order to dilute it, instead add water.
